An overview of business liability coverage.
Every business may at some time be named as a defendant in a lawsuit, in which the plaintiff contends that he sustained damages as the result of a wrongful act or omission on the part of the defendant. Such claims may arise, for example, from the slip and fall of a customer in a retail establishment, from a claim that a product manufacturer produced a defective product, or from a claim that services performed by a business were performed negligently.
