Petron Resources failure joins Clary's financial fall.
OIL AND GAS INVESTMENTS PROvided juice to pump up the fortunes of Steve Clary and his 2007 net worth claim of $92 million.
Eight months later, the Little Rock businessman didn't have enough money to make payroll at one of those ventures: Petron Resources LLC of Frisco, Texas. This piece of his boom-to-bust story, which has resulted in millions of dollars in legal judgments and two criminal cases, isn't well known outside of Arkansas, where Clary was known for his commercial real estate developments.
